About Me

I am a young Canadian writer. I love to read books, write stories, and make a difference in the world!
Here are some facts about me, in no particular order.
  • Gender: Female
  • Hair colour: brown with some streaks of gold, curly.
  • Eye colour: green-blue-grey-etc.
  • Favorite genres: fantasy, poetry, fiction.
  • Favorite book: ARGH! I've read so many, it's impossible to choose!
  • Favorite places in the whole world: the library, the bookstore, and my room.
  • Favorite animals (wild): any big cats, bumblebee.
  • Favorite animal (domestic): cat. I am not a dog person, but don't judge me for that.
  • Religion: No idea. I agree with things from almost every religion... and I disagree with some things too! My family is Christian, though.
  • Favorite author: ARGH! Again, I love so many. But I do have a soft spot for a certain Candace Savage, recipent of the Writer's Trust Hilary Weston Prize For Non-fiction, and who I know personally. (No lie!)
  • Favorite bookstore: McNally Robinson's.
  • Favorite treat: Strawberry ice cream.
  • Favorite charity: I love a lot of charities, as they all do good work in the world. My favorites are: The S.P.C.A, Multiple Births Canada (I am a multiple birth, or a triplet, myself!), UNICEF, World Vision.
  • Favorite food: favorite food... What is my favorite food? I've eaten a lot of great things, so I don't really have a favorite. Along my favorites are chicken strips, broccoli-slaw, and fries. A combination of these, including some strawberry ice cream, is heaven.
  • Least favorite food: falafel. It tastes like barf-flavoured cardboard.
  • Favorite drinks: Sprite, eggnog, chocolate milk, root beer, and almost any fruit juice.
  • Favorite school subjects: L.A (duh!), social studies, and gym, most of the time.
  • Favorite movie: The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey,. Yeah, I'm a fan of J.R.R. Tolkien.
  • Weirdest movie I've ever seen: Attack of the Killer Tomatoes. I'm not even kidding. That's what it was called.
  • I Can't Believe I Haven't Read...: The Twilight saga by Stephanie Meyer. I'm just not that into it. I know I'm not the only one!
